How to Handle YourInterview

To ensure your interview success and career development, you have to learn what is expected of you in your job interview:

Initially, ensure you are on time. The first feeling matters, and you cannot afford to turn up late. Decide how you are going to arrive at the interview center 10 to 15 minutes ahead of time. This will allow you time to calm yourself down, before you enter the interview room.

Dress as well as you can. Your impression will be largely determined by how you are dressed. Be the professional and capable candidate that you know you are, and look like it.

Be clear in your message and do not tolerate any unnecessary distractions. Do not forget to turn your mobile phone off and please dont go in with your sunglasses still on.

Be confident in your introduction. Use a firm hand grip when you shake the interviewer’s hand and announce your name with a smile on your face. If you smile, you will appear confident to the interview panel – even if you do not feel it.

Look at your job interviewer, eye to eye, when you are answering their questions. do not stare, but appear confident. If you are faced with an job interview panel – then spend the majority of your time engaging the eye contact of your primary questioner, but glance at the others to acknowledge them too.

Keep your body language open, so that you will look honest and trustworthy. Be aware of how you behave and try to avoid any unfhelpful, non verbal messages. Sit up in your chair, but lean forward slightly. Keep your hands calm and not waving around or fiddling with your hair. Try to avoid habits such as repetitive, foot tapping or tongue clicking. You will be anxious during your job interview, just try not to make it obvious.

Hopefully, these ideas will help you be successful in your job job interview.
