Regular Bachelor: Stumble upon Purposeful Great Expectations

Look, I’m not that desperately laid back man, comfortably accustomed to being missing the fun instead of living it up with friends. It’s unlikely people probably never read me talk much on great dating and compatibility. That’s just me for ya.

Idleness is an avoidable quality and totally neglected in my man programming (man-gramming?). But I do have a tender heart. I’ll level with you, I had to end a special relationship and I felt a great deal for but simply wasn’t meant to be. Therefore you could say it may have been a good since I dated. I’m missing the great expectations I held years ago.

Being single is new and free. This much is certain, I won’t spend another weekend undisturbed, binging on Lost on my big screen. The real reason for this bout of weekend dating lameness? The people I know are settling down, and most ladies I meet at work are taken.

My former college buddy, Brandon, who has never had dating apathy, told me he’s almost in the same boat. He signed up for Great Expectations Phoenix. A bit out of character, but I can’t argue with meeting sophisticated singles who meet my values. Go figure, I put myself on a plan and I’m now a satisfied member.

Keep it real, you wouldn’t complain about going dateless if ya haven’t stepped off the bench. Like our senior year football coach Paul Jennings chimed in between war stories, “You’ll never win a race you don’t run, sonny.”

Sheer genius, right? Still, the old guy was truly a wise sould without being self-righteous. He was likable in all ways. The fantastic company offering matchmaking services in Dallas that I use might have blown coach’s brain.

Last night at a Great Expectations happy hour I talked to some substantive and attractive singles that catch my expectations. I truthfully had a blast with a few terrific incredible singles. The evening ended following a sweet farewell, and as a plus, I grew some professional connections for work. Score.

Put yourself in the play. Can’t go wrong if you don’t try. Don’t sell yourself short, you might as well have great expectations for dating.

Frankly,

Keith
