There’s been no slow down in the laptop market. Manufacturers are aiming to keep up with this but have said that supplies could be limited. Many have forcasted laptop computers to be trendy but its surprising that theres been no slip. Also with laptop computers now it seems like every 6 months or so the technology is already replaced with something new.

I’ve seen a lot of gaming laptops being launched lately. You can actually get a high specification for your money these days because even the enthusiast technology is falling into the mass market area very quickly. The performance of gaming laptops has greatly optimised and its really a reasonable means of gaming. Past problems with giant, over heating laptops for gaming are fading away and new thinner, attractive products are coming out. Still there is a great difference between the performance of notebooks and computers however desktops are more roomy to provide for ample cooling and such things that all help. I feel gaming laptops are always exciting to hear about because they are constantly pushing the margins on portable technology.

For the specialist people using laptops. With custom built laptops you typically get to discover what make of parts is going into the notebook. You can normally save money on components you do not need by configuring the notebook to your needs. I guess getting an attractive price point is a massive roadblock in all this. Certainly the technology is present. The way things are developing I predict gaming laptops will become slimmer. There’s no telling what notebooks we will see but more than likely there will be many.
